Abbie Dagg is a highly regarded podiatrist with a wealth of clinical knowledge plus practical assessment of movement. Her areas of expertise include:
- Prescribing orthoses
- Running technique analysis and biomechanics
- Running injury assessment and treatment
Abbie has over 20 years experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating a whole range of foot and lower limb problems.
Abbie qualified form Huddersfield University in 2000. She immediately started working for Mid Yorkshire NHS Hospital Trust where she still works today. Abbie rose through the ranks and became lead MSK specialist in 2005. To support her clinical work Abbie has 2 masters degrees- one in Rheumatology and the other in Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics which included a module in sport medicine.
Since then, Abbie has kept her training up to date by undertaking continual professional development and teaching at Staffordshire University. She also become on of the first independent Podiatry prescribers in the country.
Abbie is a keen runner and can be found causing havoc around Huddersfield. Although happy to run and distance and on any terrain, she is happiest when taking part in multi day events.
